Which seed are you?

What did you come to sow?

This is a question we ask ourselves at some point in life, whether personally or professionally. You and I share that same desire. What do I come to plant, as leader?

 

Out there, there are leader seeds who are already asking themselves these questions.

 

What is the human quality of the space you are creating as a leader?

Is it a space of work or collaboration?

Have you ever explored the meaning of the word work and collaboration? The etymological meaning of work is “outcome of a worker while accomplishing something”. The etymological meaning of collaboration is: “to work with others”.

 

Why do we still use the word work, if there is nothing we can do alone these days?

That’s why I am inspired to create more human workplaces that will become collaborative ones. This will definitely lead to a deep change for leaders and teams.

 

The challenges we are experiencing as leaders, when it comes to attracting and retaining talent, has a message behind it. It is asking us to make workplaces more human.

 

It calls to leave behind the division between the Professional and Personal selves, replace competition for collaboration, choose where to work from, and give space to emotions.

When you are aware of the personal challenge of that colleague who didn’t give you the report on time, and you can empathize with the emotions she/he is experiencing, our work relationships become lighter, more human and easier.

How can we achieve that?

The real leader is the ultimate listener.

Great guides are great listeners.

Everything starts with creating spaces for deep listening, both internally for each individual and then when connecting as a team.

 

If you are looking to implement these profound changes, it’s first necessary to develop it in you as a leader, and then you can provide tools for your teams. That requires a lot of openness and freedom.

CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

I help you create spaces for listening and strengthening bonds in your teams, using creativity as a tool to achieve more real and human connections.

Conscious Communication Workshop: We are going to create a safe space with different tools to exercise deep internal and external listening. (2 hrs, online/in person)

Introduction to Conscious Leadership Workshop: to explore the starting points to develop a new leadership model. When consciousness expands, it leads the group, not a leader.

How Colorful is your Team?​ Workshop We will create a safe space to connect and share personal and professional aspects by using the language of color to express ourselves creatively, identify the predominant color of each person and how diversity is important.

 

  • We will start with a moment to reflect on current emotions and situations. 

    • It starts with an individual exercise of internal reflection, to invite the Personal Self to share its emotions and personal situations of the present moment.

    • Then, it invites the professional Self to explore her/his talents and how they contribute to the team.

  • We will create a safe space to connect and share personal and professional things.

  • We will use the language of color to express ourselves creatively, We will identify the predominant color of each team member and how diversity is important.

The objective is to strengthen the bonds of your team and identify how to expand more listening spaces on a daily basis.

We co-create a workshop tailored to you. This invitation is to co-create something together tailored to what your team needs at the moment. We can add tools like LEGOs.

COACHING FOR CONSCIOUS LEADERS

I offer creative coaching sessions, a inner listening space for you as a leader, where we explore different ways of making workplaces more human

  • how to balance empathy with reason,

  • how to manage the ego

  • how to listen to yourself and your teams deeply (what is being said and unsaid),

  • how to strengthening the relationships in your team to inspire more collaboration than the competition

  • how to create transparency and horizontality in management, 

  • how to overcome the fears of being just a different kind of leader.

For this we can use tools such as drawing, or LEGOs to project scenarios to be solved, or self-knowledge that explore personality archetypes such as Astrology in a creative way and the language of color.

When as leaders and companies we deeply commit to create a more human and collaborative space, eventually, we have to make changes to the culture of our teams. My own experience leading these types of changes has taught me that they take time and practices that adjust to the needs of each group.

 

The focus of these consultancies is to plant seeds of new and innovative paradigms that pioneering companies are already implementing, and are known by many as the TEAL paradigm.

 

When you dive into these models, it seems utopian to talk about concepts such as:

 

(1) self-management of teams, groups that do not need leaders to make decisions, but rather facilitators who create a safe space to let the group make their own decisions

​

(2) leaders and teams open to a holistic way of looking for solutions, combining a rational and intuitive approach

 

(3) leaders and teams who do not only focus on the evolution of external resources (such as technology) to create solutions, but also on the evolution of the consciousness of each individual. For this reason, they explore listening to their inner voice, work on their egos, connect with their emotions and place a lot of value on collaborative relationships.

 

(4) leaders and teams that do not compete, they collaborate. They don’t seek to serve only themselves and their company, but also serve the common good, and as a consequence they create successful solutions.

 

Does it feel like a lot of contrast with today's reality, doesn’t it?

 

Every great change began as a great utopia, but someone believed it was possible, and started it. This is why my proposal is to sow TEAL seeds that adjust to the needs of your team today to make the workplace more human.

 

One change at a time.

 

These are some areas where we can start:

  • Create daily experiences in your team dynamics to strengthen human relationships

  • Develop leaders who know themselves well, and work on their egos

  • Empower multicultural and virtually distributed teams

 

How do we do it?

I propose you to (1) create a listening space, (2) identify among everyone (leaders and teams) which changes are the priority of the moment and (3) carry them forward through iterative cycles (Sprints), one change at a time.

As you can see, Yellowseeds' proposals always begin with deep listening,

whether in an individual or group session.

I don't bring the answers, I'm going to look for them in you, as a leader,

and in your team.

This is the seed Yellowseeds wants to sow,

we trust that each individual and team has their own answers.

 

Only when we truly listen to that inner voice,

we will able to create things for the common good.
